Scripture Focus · 1 Kings 17:12-16
"As surely as the LORD your God lives," she replied, "I don't have any bread — only a handful of flour in a jar and a little olive oil in a jug... For this is what the LORD, the God of Israel, says: 'The jar of flour will not be used up and the jug of oil will not run dry until the day the LORD sends rain on the land.'"
Revelation Flow
The widow was one meal away from the grave. But when she prepared for the man of God first, her meal overflowed until the rain came. The Zarephath principle is simple: give to God first, and He will multiply what remains. The overflow comes when you honour God with your resources before you consume them.
Truth 1
Preparing for the anointed first releases the overflow.
Truth 2
What you give to God is not lost. It is multiplied.
Revelation Insight
The woman prepared for Elijah first, and the flour and oil did not run dry. When you put God first, your resources become supernatural.
Deep Insight
Order is: God first, others second, yourself last. The overflow follows when you align with this order.
Prophetic Insight
This month, make God first in your resources, your time, and your priorities. The overflow is on its way.
The Zarephath Overflow In Your Life
- Flour that does not run out, provision that persists
- Oil that does not dry up, anointing that sustains
- Resources multiplied when God is honoured first
- Supernatural supply released through firstfruits
Reflection
What does it mean for you to prepare for God first? Are you giving Him the firstfruits of your increase?
Prayer
Father, I put You first. I give You the firstfruits of my increase. I prepare for You before I consume what You have given me. Let the bin of flour not be used up and the jar of oil not run dry. My overflow is coming because I have honoured You first. In Jesus' name, Amen.
